Free Screening of Award-Winning Film Phil's Camino in Chappaqua

Award-winning documentary, Phil's Camino, will be screening with free admission at The Center for Aligned Healing in Chappaqua 

On Wednesday, August 16th, The Center of Aligned Healing will be hosting a free screening of the award-winning documentary, Phil's CaminoPhil's Camino is the story of a man named Phil with stage 4 cancer, who has dreamed of walking the 500 mile spiritual pilgrimage Camino de Santiago across Spain. Since he cannot make the trip due to his weekly chemo treatments, he decides to make the trip come to him: Phil builds his own camino in his backyard, starts to walk, and tracks his progress. On this journey, Phil learns to stop fighting to cure his cancer, and embarks on a new path of spiritual healing. Phil's Camino has won 16 out of 25 festivals it has competed in, premiered at SXSW International, and has been submitted for Oscar nomination at the 89th Academy Awards. 

Phil's Camino tells a story of hope, freedom, and resilience, that will inspire anyone who has longed to do something others deemed "impossible". Starting at 6:00 pm, the film is 28 minutes long, and will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, Annie O'Neil. You can RSVP to  This email address is being protected from spambots.
