FREE Film Screening: Paris to Pittsburgh on September 25 at Chappaqua PAC

Film Screening: Paris to Pittsburgh on Wednesday, September 25 at Chappaqua Performing Arts Center

6:30 pm Reception, 7:00 pm Film

From coastal cities to America’s heartland, Paris to Pittsburgh celebrates how Americans are demanding and developing real solutions in the face of climate change. And as the weather grows more deadly and destructive, they aren’t waiting on Washington to act.

Come at 6:30pm for a reception with light refreshments. Film screening at 7:00 pm. The film will be followed by a brief panel discussion about local actions underway to prepare for climate change and address its causes.

Sponsored by Federated Conservationists of Westchester County, Films on Purpose, and seven area Audubon chapters: Bedford Audubon, Bronx River Sound Shore Audubon, Central Westchester Audubon, Hudson River Audubon, Orange County Audubon, Putnam Highlands Audubon and Saw Mill River Audubon. Venue support from the Town of New Castle and the Chappaqua Library and grant support from Audubon New York.

Save the date for the companion event: a Climate Change Bootcamp on Saturday, October 26, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Westchester County Center: go deeper to learn more about local climate change effects, what is being done locally, and what steps you can take to make a difference.
