We have officially begun to build the Unity Garden, which is housed at Wagon Road Camp.
Special thanks to the Canziani family for being friends of the CRE and committing to give this project a home.
As we prepare to grow food for people who are food insecure, our hope is that this garden will be a place where students and community members can come together and share and reflect upon their experiences, realizing that we are more alike than we are different.
Food access and security remain a major issue as we work towards building bridges to true racial equity, and the CRE remains committed to ensuring it for all.
