Greenwich Art Society Gallery presents Stationary Movement, Nabil West exhibit December 2 through December 20.
An Opening Reception with live music will take place on December 2 from 6 to 9pm.
"Stationary Movement", on display at the Greenwich Art Society Gallery, is the work of fine art photographer Nabil West. The exhibition is a curation of his art focusing on time, and our perception of “change”. The collection includes images from around the world, as well as the debut of the historic NYC Women’s March 2017 photograph. His work will be on display from December 2 - December 29th. Please join us at the opening reception on December 2nd from 6 - 9 PM. Live music, snacks and wine will be served.
Spending the better part of his life in Brooklyn New York, Nabil West has also lived in numerous places around the country, involved in multiple forms of art as a prominent figure cultivating scenes and various sounds. In the summer of 2009, he had a life-changing experience when an accident placed him in intensive care at Bellevue Hospital for 11 days. After multiple surgeries and months of rehab, Nabil eventually had a near-full recovery. The accident had a profound impact on how he views the world and his time in it, providing a reminder that time could be short. Life is best spent appreciating its beauty; hidden and apparent. Nabil not only appreciates this beauty but attempts to capture it in his photography.
All works in the exhibit can be purchased by contacting the Greenwich Art society at 203-629-1533 between 10:30 am and 4 PM Monday through Friday or by emailing admin@greenwichartsociety.org. To view more of his works please visit www.nabilwestphotography.com.
