Greenwich United Way workshop: How to Craft a Proposal and What to Do When You Get a Grant

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Greenwich United Way will host a grant-writing/execution workshop at the Boys & Girls Club.
 
Presented by grant expert Judith Margolin (bio below*), "How to Craft a Proposal and What to Do When You Get a Grant” will run 9:30am-12:30pm and cover the basic components of grant writing and submissions, how to effectively and efficiently put grants to work, and grant reporting.

*Stamford-based Judith Margolin is an independent consultant on foundations and grants. She formerly served as Vice President for Planning and Evaluation at the Foundation Center and has devoted her career to philanthropy, focusing on helping nonprofit organizations secure the funding they require to fulfill their valuable missions. She is the author of several books, including "The Individual's Guide to Grants" and "Financing a College Education," and has served as editor of multiple editions of the Foundation Center's how-to books.
