Greenwich Senior Center Drive Thru Medical Equipment Donation Drive on Sept. 25

Drive-Thru Drop Off Medical Equipment You No Longer Need at Greenwich Senior Center on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

There is a tremendous demand for lightly used medical equipment. Donating something you are no longer using will benefit others who can borrow equipment that has been sanitized, plus donating is good for the environment.

Greenwich Commission on Aging and Wheel it Forward are teaming up for this special one-day  event to benefit the Greenwich community, supporting the way our community thinks about availability, use, and reuse, thereby improving quality of life, saving money, and keeping usable equipment out of landfills.

We will accept:

• Hospital Beds

• Wheelchairs

• NEW Commodes

• Walkers

• Knee Scooters

• Canes

• Crutches

• Shower Tub Seats

• Toilet Risers

• Rollators

• UNOPENED Disposable Items

• Hoyer Lifts

• Portable Wheelchair Ramps

If you have large items that need to be picked up, please contact Wheel it Forward (203) 652 - 8600 or www.wheelitforwardusa.org to schedule a time and date. After this event, residents can donate equipment to a Wheel it Forward Drop Off at the Holly Hill Transfer Station Monday through Friday 7 am to 2:30 pm and Saturdays 7 am to 12 noon.

Wheel it Forward is a volunteer run, nonprofit community library that enables anyone to easily borrow or donate durable medical equipment at no cost.

Wheel It Forward is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax receipt provided at drop off.
