Homes for the Brave Presents Winter Cornhole Tournament

Homes for the Brave (HFTB), a nonprofit dedicated to providing housing and services to Veterans experiencing homelessness, is pleased to announce its Winter Cornhole Tournament. Cornhole is a fun game in which small bags filled with dried corn are tossed at a target consisting of an inclined wooden platform with a hole at one end. It’s increasing in popularity across the United States with many social players and many on the competitive circuit.

HFTB’s Winter Cornhole Tournament will take place at Insports Trumbull on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The cost per team is $100 (for two players) and will have brackets for both competitive players and social players. The event includes a double elimination tournament, cash prizes for the top three teams, raffle prizes, and more.

“We are excited to be presenting another fun night of Cornhole at Insports in Trumbull,” said sponsor Randy Abrams. “Our last tournament was a great success, and all who participated had a wonderful time. The addition of a competitive bracket in this tournament will increase the entertainment level for all of the teams who participate.”

Registration for the tournament can be made online at homesforthebrave.org/cornhole. All proceeds from this event will benefit Homes for the Brave and the Veterans that they serve.
