Join Greenwich Land Trust for Pollinator Potluck: Luncheon & Lecture

Join Greenwich Land Trust (GLT) and community partners from the Greenwich Grown Initiative for a day of learning and action Saturday, October 20, 2018.

The free event starts with a Pollinator Potluck (Luncheon & Lecture) from noon to 1 pm at Greenwich Botanical Center featuring Jeffrey S. Ward, Chief Scientist for the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station discussing invasive species control. After the lecture, join Greenwich Land Trust staff for a Weed Wrangle at the GLT American Chestnut Sanctuary to remove invasive species and learn about controlling them in your own backyard.

  • Luncheon & Lecture 12 - 1 pm at the Greenwich Botanical Center, 130 Bible Street, Greenwich
  • Weed Wrangle 1-3 pm at The Land Trust's American Chestnut Sanctuary, across from 18 Burning Tree Road, Greenwich
