Sustainable Gardening: Using Native Plants

Calling all gardeners! The public is invited to an educational morning at Greenwich Land Trust’s Mueller Preserve, Thursday, May 9 at 10:30 am to enjoy a presentation by Dr. Jessica Lubell, Associate Professor of Horticulture at the University of Connecticut. She will discuss creating sustainable gardens using lesser-known native plants that are adaptable to our backyard gardens.

Dr. Lubell has more than 18 years of experience working with the horticulture industry, focusing her research on improving the availability of native shrubs in the nursery trade and broadening their use among landscapers and designers.
