The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) will host two open house sessions for prospective members. Women interested in joining the JLG are invited to meet current members, learn what the JLG does and how to join the organization.
The sessions will take place on Thursday, September 22nd at 7 pm and 10 am Saturday, October 8th at 10 am. Both will be held at JLG headquarters (231 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT). Registration for the New Member Class is now open.
The JLG provides opportunities for women to develop skills enabling them to be highly effective volunteers who create community change. By joining the Junior League, members can develop their leadership potential and obtain non-profit and personal development training while creating an impact in the Greenwich community. Members include executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers, and professionals.
Over the course of the year, women in the New Member Class will learn about the JLG’s legacy, effective volunteerism, as well as the JLG’s impact in the community. The President of the JLG, Jennifer Behette shares, “the JLG is a unique organization that seamlessly blends camaraderie, community, and commitment. We are a membership that values our volunteers’ personal leadership enrichment, cherishes our community partnerships, and is dedicated to creating lasting impact in our town.”
