Legends & Hauntings Tours at Fairfield Museum, Fairfield 

Thursday, October 27 - Saturday, October 29, 6-9 pm

You’ll feel your spine shiver, listening to true ghost stories and local folklore, as night descends and the dry leaves rustle in the trees. Follow a tour of Fairfield’s Old Burying Ground and prepare to be greeted by Eunice Burr, Samuel Smedley, and Goody Knapp, who was convicted of and executed for witchcraft in 1653. Discover long-buried legends that have haunted Fairfield for nearly 400 years.

GUYS AND DOLLS at ACT OF CT, Ridgefield

Thursday, October 27 & running Thursdays through Sundays until November 21, 7 pm

This production promises to be “all Aces” and unlike any other you have ever seen. Artistic Director, Daniel C. Levine, directs this Golden-Age classic musical comedy follows the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary, as well as a showgirl and crap game manager. With its score of unforgettable songs including "Luck Be a Lady", "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat", and “I’ve Never Been In Love Before”, put this sultry production on your calendar now.

Enchanted Forest at Connecticut Audubon Fairfield

Friday, October 28, 5-7:15 pm

A favorite fall family event ideally suited for children up to age 10, you will be escorted through the nature sanctuary's luminary trail and learn about nocturnal animals in their natural habitats. After the walk, meet live animals, plus enjoy crafts, snacks & hot chocolate. Costumes encouraged for this nature-themed, outdoors-only event. Guided walks every 15 minutes from 5 to 7:15 p.m. Held rain or moon shine! Purchase tickets early; this event sells out.

Renaissance: The Legacy Tour 2022 at The Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield

Friday, October 28, 8 pm

Celebrate 75 years of the incredible voice of Annie Haslam. This group’s rich history dates back to 1969 and has spanned many decades and many genres, from folk to rock to full-scale symphonic collaboration. Their musical abilities are boundless and Haslam’s voice is one of the truly awe-inspiring in music.

WPKN’s Music Mash ’22 Record Fair at Read’s ArtSpace, Bridgeport

Saturday, October 29, 8 am - 6 pm

With more sizzle than traditional record fairs, this one presents vendors from all over New England selling vinyl LP’s, 45’s, CD’s and music collectibles. WPKN DJ’s will be spinning music from various genres on the hour. This event debuts The Eric Cocks CD Collection and WPKN will also have a new collection of vinyl LP’s and WPKN merch. Urban Taqo, Berlinetta Brewing and Two Roads Brewing will be on site to enhance the day.

Boo at the Zoo! at Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport 

Saturday, October 29, 11 am - 3 pm, 

A spooktacular afternoon of seasonal delights, guaranteed to delight and fright all those who pass through. Dress up in your Halloween costume and join the party! A fun afternoon of cool critters, and family memories, and an evening of spooky animal talks - and a DJ.

A perfect Autumn opening reception for painter/printmaker Roberta Shea whose prints and paintings features vividly hued and highly-textured seasonal changes in trees and nature. The reception includes an urban forestry and climate change talk prior to the reception by Dr. Danica Doroski, Urban Forestry Coordinator for the State of Connecticut. Registration required.

RSO Quartet in Concert by the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield

Saturday, October 29, 6 pm 

Soak up the arts through all the senses as two Cultural Alliance members come together inspired by the exhibit “52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone” at The Aldrich. The quartet features violinists Jorge Avilia and Mialtin Zhezha, violist Suzanne Corey-Sahlin, and cellist Nick Hardie. A limited, seated performance held in the beautiful setting of the Museum’s galleries.

American Chamber Orchestra Fall Concert at Norwalk Concert Hall, Norwalk

Saturday, October 29, 7:30 pm

The Concert hall opens its 20th Season with a program that spans the centuries, the performance includes Mozart's Maurerische Trautmusic; Mozart's Serenade No.10 - Gran Partita for Winds; Sibelius' Violin Concerto with soloist Shan Jiang and contemporary composer Kenji Bunch's Supermaximum.

 “Halloween on the Green” at The Fairfield Museum and History Center, Fairfield 

Sunday, October 30, 12-4 pm

Looking for something that will make the whole family smile? This free family event features trick-or-treating, giveaways, displays in the historic buildings, food vendors, a bounce house, and more!

Colonial Community Bus Tour, Wilton

Sunday, October 30, 1 – 5 pm

Take a trip back to Wilton’s colonial past. Join Histoury on a bus tour of the chapels, schools, taverns, and general stores that served as centers of 18th and 19th century life in rural hamlets within the town. A historian will bring these hamlets to life and will end with a reception at the Wilton Historical Society. Tickets include a donation to the Wilton Historical Society. Very limited space.

Beechwood Arts & Innovation at Beechwood, Westport

Sunday, October 30, 2-6 pm 

Stop by for the final Beechwood event that will include a once-in-lifetime exploration and scavenger hunt of the historic space. Celebrate a decade of 100 events with artists, musicians, performers, chefs, and arts lovers. See videos from past events and perform on the piano or on the stage. Jeanine and Frederic will share their overall vision of the next chapter of collaborative partnerships and pop-ups at "The Hive."
