Greenwich Historical Society Exhibit Celebrates Asian American Youth Heritage

“All of us Asian Americans have a glorious heritage. We have to be proud of it.”
- Indra Nooyi, former Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo

The Greenwich Historical Society is pleased to present "My Story, Our Future" a student-curated exhibit highlighting personal family stories and artifacts of South Asian Americans co-curated by students from Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and bordering communities in Westchester. Organized by the India Cultural Center and the Asia and Asian American Studies Institute at UConn, the exhibit showcases stories about South Asian American youth identity in support of Connecticut’s newly mandated K-12 Asian American/Pacific Islander curriculum.

The exhibit will have a lasting impact in building awareness of Asian American contributions to the economic, cultural, social and political development of Connecticut.
