The Greenwich Art Society presents Reviving Inner Rhythms at the Flinn Gallery

The Greenwich Art society presents: “REVIVING INNER RHYTHMS" reception and awards ceremony with Juror's Walk and Talk on August 3 from 5:30 to 7 pm.

The Greenwich Art Society is pleased to announce the return of its Annual Members Exhibition, "Reviving Inner Rhythms" at the Flinn Gallery at the Greenwich Library. This exhibition is generously sponsored by M&T Bank. Exhibition dates are August 1st thru August 18th. There will be an opening reception and awards ceremony with a juror's walk and talk on Thursday August 3rd from 5:30 to 7 PM. An online digital and virtual gallery will be available on our website, www.greenwichartsociety.org. All work will be for sale.

JUROR: Clare Davies is an associate curator and joined the department of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York in sponsored by 2015. In the intervening years, she has established the museum’s holdings of modern works from the Menat region and curated a series of critically acclaimed exhibits including Yto Barrada’s Lyautay Unit Blocks: Play (2010) from 2018-2019; the retrospective Siah Armajani: Follow This Line, which opened at the Walker Art Institute, Minneapolis in 2018 and at The Met in 2019; Alien Property / Rayyane Tabet, a collaboration with the artist and The Met’s department of Ancient Near Eastern Art (2019-2021); Spiritual Pop: Art from 1960s Iran (2021), and most recently, Louise Bourgeois: Paintings at The Met and the New Orleans Museum of Art (2022). She holds a PhD from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.
