Greenwich After School Enrichment Begins Registration For Winter Session

Registration has begun for Greenwich After School virtual enrichment classes which start the week of January 11th, 2021. Because these classes are online instead of being in schools, they are available to all Greenwich elementary school students. Parents can register on the Greenwich After School Website, greenwichafterschool.com, for these classes which are offered in two sessions, January 11th to February 26th and March 1st to April 9th and range from math (Wacky Word Problems) to art (Amazing Artists) to engineering (Sky’s the Limit: Engineering Flying Technologies) and more. Students can take the same classes each session or, mix and match. These classes are taught by local teachers and expert instructors.

Typically, the Greenwich After School programs are held at only a few of Greenwich’s elementary schools however, due to COVID-19, the winter session of these programs are being held online and are available to all elementary school students. This gives students from different schools the opportunity to interact with each other. Feedback on these online programs has been very positive, with one parent mentioning in an email, “I was surprised how different virtual after school is from their virtual school day.  My kids socialized with other students; laughing, asking each other questions, and just truly enjoyed their time.”
