In Memoriam: John Wesley Moffly IV, Longtime Supporter of The Bruce Museum

Peter C. Sutton, The Susan E. Lynch the Susan E. Lynch Executive Director has announced the passing of Jack Moffly, a longtime friend of the Museum. He shared this letter with The Bruce Museum family of supporters, friends, and patrons:

Dear Friends,  It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that the Bruce Museum has lost a dear member of our family. Jack Moffly, longtime friend and supporter of the Bruce Museum, passed away earlier this week. A devoted public servant and a cornerstone in our community, Jack dedicated over a decade as a champion of the Bruce, leading the Marketing & Membership Committee, serving on numerous fundraising committees, as well as the Museum's Committees of Honor. His unwavering support of the Bruce's exhibitions and programming, as well as the relationship that he forged between the Museum and Greenwich Magazine, made him one of the Bruce Museum's most valued advocates. Jack Moffly was a dear friend, and he will be missed immensely.

With deepest sympathy,

Peter C. Sutton,  The Susan E. Lynch Executive Director
