Stamford Health Announces 2019 Paint the Town Pink Calendar of Events

This October, Stamford Health is kicking off its 15th annual Paint the Town Pink (PTTP) campaign to mark National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The month-long initiative, spearheaded by Stamford Health’s Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center and Breast Center, stresses the importance of screening and early detection of breast cancer and raises awareness about the comprehensive breast care services available in our community. Throughout the month, the Bennett Cancer Center is joining a number of community partners to offer an exciting line-up of educational and social fundraising events to take place in Stamford and beyond.

Since its inception in 2005, Paint the Town Pink has raised more than $1 million and reached more than 20,000 women in Stamford and surrounding communities. As part of Hope in Motion, Stamford Health’s ongoing fundraising campaign to support the programs and services at the Bennett Cancer Center, all proceeds from Paint the Town Pink events provide services for uninsured, underinsured and low income women who otherwise could not afford breast care.

For information, visit www.PaintTheTownPinkStamford.org or call (203) 276-5900. To schedule a mammogram, patients can call 203-276-PINK (7465). The campaign’s calendar events for this year is included below.
