Three Greenwich Style King Pins Join 35 International Dealers at Greenwich Winter Antiques Show

 COS COB, November 25, 2019 -- Greenwich’s interior style mavens Charlotte Barnes, Pamela Frisoli of Trovare Home and Patrick Mele join the exclusive line up of exhibitors at this year’s Greenwich Winter Antiques Show, adding local flair and contemporary style to the mix of international dealers who regularly exhibit at the show.

“We’re thrilled to have local participation in the show this year,” says show producer Frank Gaglio, of Frank Gaglio, Inc. “They bring a fresh, contemporary and energetic vision which will be a terrific complement to many of our long-established dealers who have a more traditional approach to furnishings, fine art and accessories.”

Interior designer Charlotte Barnes will bring an eclectic mix of decorative objects, antiques, modern lighting and furniture from her Davis Avenue studio. Her booth will showcase her signature aesthetic - a stylish mélange of luxurious materials, the classic and the contemporary.

“Our space will be set up like a room with a blend of old and new in a decorative setting” says Barnes.  “We hope this will enable visitors to the show to envision how these beautiful things will look in their own homes.”

Trovare Home’s Pamela Frisoli looks forward to showcasing her trademark vision for layering vintage and modern pieces and decorative accessories for a sophisticated fresh look. “We’ll have some of the most distinctive pieces from our Cos Cob shop, and new items that convey a contemporary clean look that can be mixed and matched. Vintage barware, lighting, artwork and furnishings, including handsome club chairs, are just some of the items that will be complemented by grab and go accessories that are perfect for gift giving.”

Greenwich native Patrick Mele will have a representative collection from his eponymous William St. shop, which has kilim carpets, antique crystal, pottery, fragrances for the body and home, Chinese theatrical headdresses and contemporary art. “My vision is informed by today’s consumers who thirst for unique experiences that escape the everyday. My mother, Patricia, who runs the shop and has fantastic style, and I look forward to bringing this sensibility to the antiques show with a carefully curated collection of statement pieces that are timeless and beautiful.”

The Greenwich Winter Antiques Show, sponsored by the Greenwich Historical Society, kicks off at a festive reception on Friday, December 6 at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center at 90 Harding Road, Old Greenwich. Party planner extraordinaire Bronson van Wyck will transform it into a veritable animal kingdom tied to the Animal Instincts theme. Attendees will enjoy an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and a light buffet dinner provided by Watson’s Catering.
