The Greenwich Police Department has announced the passing of retired Greenwich Officer Clifford M. Yasek.
"Chief James Heavey regrets to announce the passing of retired Greenwich Police Officer Clifford M. Yasek on February 10, 2020. Officer Yasek began his thirty-seven-year career with the Greenwich Police Department on April 3, 1978, and retired as a Police Officer on August 26, 2005. He then served the Department as a Special Police Officer as well as a Public Safety Dispatch Telecommunicator until August 11, 2015," the Department wrote on their Facebook Page.
The Greenwich Police Department extends its sincere sympathy to the Yasek family.
