“My image-making is a reaction to both the physical and spiritual world around me. What I see and what I feel meld into a timeless moment that is captured in the copper plate and eventually inked and impressed into paper. Intaglio provides a surprisingly fluid and changeable process that alters the initial image and feeling, despite the hardness and seemingly unyielding surface of the metal plate itself.
