Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT The Greenwich Performing Arts Studio!

Three questions with Michelle Marceau, founder of The Greenwich Performing Arts Studio.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business as a "pay it forward:" because I was so fortunate in my career and I want to help get the talented youth in our area to the right people and give them amazing opportunities in TV, Film and Stage.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business: "I wish I could"...

I wish I could make more people aware of the benefits of the performing arts and how they help to build "Life Skills" that last a lifetime.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business? Can you name them?

Businesses I use in my area are Colonial Printing and Imaging (amazing creativity and prompt, quality service) as well as Better Events for my performances (they are very professional and always able to take care of all my Lighting, Sound and Video needs).

The Greenwich Performing Arts Studio is located at 261 E Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob. Visit them online here or call 203 273-STAR (7827).
