Bruce Museum Closed to Public Through April 6

Out of an abundance of caution, the Bruce Museum will be closed to the public effective today, Friday, March 13, through Monday, April 6, 2020. All Museum programs and events, on-site as well as off-site, have also been canceled or postponed through this period.

The safety of Museum visitors, staff, and the community as a whole is our priority, and we have made this decision to close temporarily to support the efforts by local and state authorities to help protect public health and safety during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

We will provide updates on our website, through email communications, and via social media channels.

For the most up-to-date information from the State of Connecticut on coronavirus, visit www.ct.gov/coronavirus. Best practices recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to prevent the spread of the coronavirus may be found here.

Like all organizations, the Bruce Museum is assessing the situation on an ongoing basis. We will continue to stay responsive to new developments. If you have any questions, or for more information, please call 203-869-0376 or send an email to info@brucemuseum.org.

Thank you. We wish you all good health and look forward to welcoming you back to the Bruce soon.
