Why Small Businesses Matter in Stamford (Reimagined): Flavorism

Why Small Businesses Matter Reimagined

Small businesses matter - now more than ever. They are answering the call with innovation and determination like never before.

We hope you join us in supporting them by sharing their story far and wide and shopping local! We are thankful to Fairfield County Bank for their continued support and making this series possible.

We are excited to introduce you to Flavorism, a virtual food hall with 6 farm to table kitchens under one roof!

Three questions with Jon Brennan from Flavorism.

What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?

Participate and use social media to help brag for your local favorites. If you have a great meal or received terrific service use your social media reach to let people know. Don’t use yelp though, please. No restaurant likes yelp. It's like dealing with the mob.

Are you offering any new products, or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?

Flavorism put out a new mobile app during this virus. It's been very well received. We will also be making ourselves available on Menumavin.com’s new app "Flavor Rush". Which once live will be a game-changer for small and mid size food businesses.

Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?

Menumavin has had our back the entire time. Greystar Apartments (specifically Baypointe) in Stamford has been awesome. And of course, our very loyal customer base has been with us each day and night throughout the crisis.

Please share the ways your business is adapting to keep your customers and employees safe in addition to the standard guidelines

I wouldn’t say we are adapting as much as we are shining. Flavorism is delivery only Food Hall. The first in the country. As you can see on our website we were built to thrive in such environments and we have been thanks to a very loyal customer base.

Flavorism is located at 207 Greenwich Ave in Stamford, and their 6 kitchens cover Ridgefield, Wilton, Norwalk, New Canaan, Darien, Stamford, and Greenwich! Visit their website online here.

Joe Brennan and Flavorism nominate Menumavin from Ridgefield to participate next in this series.

HamletHub thanks Fairfield County Bank for making our Why Small Businesses Matter series possible!
