The Greenwich Art Society offers acrylic painting class

This course offers an introduction to acrylic painting with an emphasis on observational work to develop an understanding of elements of value, form, color, and composition.

You will learn how to prepare a canvas, use acrylic mediums, color match, and color theory. Throughout the semester students will build upon these essential skills in order to cultivate a reflective and interpretive practice of their individual experiences. The course will involve technical instruction, practical studio work, and group discussion. No prerequisites required. This class will be held on Zoom for the entire term.
