Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Iron Camp!

Four questions with LaRoy Warner, owner of Iron Camp.

Why did you start your business?

I’ve been a personal trainer in Greenwich for about 11 years. I’ve worked out of a few facilities and commercial gyms. I decided the best way to build my brand and coach my philosophy on training was to have my own studio. I opened Iron Camp in 2016.

What is your best-selling product/service?

At Iron Camp, we offer personal training, small group classes, as well as power and aerial yoga.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I’ve worked with Hybrid Media and Starr Films.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Having a business in the fitness industry, you’re always looking at ways to stay ahead of the curve. During the pandemic, we were really able to start and ramp up remote (virtual) training and classes. That’s something we will continue to offer and build on in the future.

Iron Camp is located at 55 Old Post Road 2 in Greenwich. Visit Iron Camp online here, and make sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages as well!
