Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Next Gen Nutrition Investment!

Four questions with Andrew Towle, founder of Next Gen Nutrition Investment.

Why did you start your business?

My partner and I wanted to leverage our vast experience in the food industry in ways that have the highest contribution. Investing and advising start-ups in the food space was the most effective way to do that.

What do you do?

We are raising a fund and investing in food start-ups.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We have an office at Regus. We use Fedex copy services occasionally.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

We have had to relaunch our fund a couple of times, but the core mission hasn’t changed.
