The photo you see here (courtesy of Greenwich Police Facebook Page) shows Chief James Heavey and Sergeant Jeff Moran presenting the Officer of the Month Award to Officers Caroline Clark and Stacy Rameor, Suzanne Carlin.

Police Officer Caroline Clark, Animal Control Officer Suzanne Carlin (not shown), and Animal Control Officer Stacy Rameor successfully closed significant animal cruelty case. Their hard work and repeated court appearances were paramount in the prosecution of the offender. In addition, their work resulted in the offender signing off his ownership rights to two dogs which have been rehabilitated and adopted. Furthermore, they were able to successfully pursue the reimbursement to the Town for charges related to the care and feeding of the animals from the offender."

The Officers tenacity and investigative diligence saved the lives of several canines and gave them a second lease on life by facilitating their adoptions into loving homes.

In our continuing effort to find good homes for abandoned domestic animals, we remind you we have outstanding adoption opportunities at our Animal Control Division.
