This is Mayor Mark Boughton with an important emergency message from the City of Danbury. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Danbury area. We are expecting 4-8" of snow overnight accompanied with high winds. At this time, we are declaring a Level 1 Snow Emergency. Please move your vehicles off of the streets so that we can commence snow removal operations. Please remember to shovel your sidewalk in front of your home.
