Webster Bank Arena for a Battle of the Champions

(Bridgeport, CT, January 21, 2013) — Tickets for Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam®, the world’s premier monster truck series presented by Feld Motor Sports, are on sale now with four shows at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport from March 8 to 10.With the best line up ever in Bridgeport, fans won’t want to miss Grave Digger® driven by Gary Porter, Monster Mutt driven by Whit Tarlton, Advance Auto Parts Grinder driven by John Seasock, El Toro Loco® driven by Becky McDonough, Maximum Destruction (celebrating 10th Anniversary of racing) with Kreg Christensen driving, and Captain's Curse driven by Alex Blackwell. Trucks are subject to change without notice. The show includes Quad Wars and more exciting action to be announced.  

 

Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air. Monster Jam, sanctioned by the United States Hot Rod Association®, is the most popular monster truck tour.

Monster Jam events are affordably priced for the whole family with seats starting at just $12 for kids ages 2 to 12, and $25 for adults. There are a limited number of Gold Circle tickets for $40 each.  Fees may apply and all tickets are $5 more when purchased on day of the event. *The Party in the Pits will be 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10. Pit Party passes are $10 in advance and day of show. Pit Passes are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com and at the Webster Bank Arena CLICK IT or TICKET Box Office.There are alimited number of passes available and in order to attend the Pit Party, fans must have an event ticket to the Saturday or Sunday 2 p.m. show AND Pit Party to enter.

and meet the drivers of the massive Monster Jam trucks up-close while taking pictures and getting autographs.
