On June 2 the Garden Conservancy Open Days Progam will feature the Ridgefield garden of Helen Dimos. The Conservancy chooses gardens all over the country for this program which raises money from a $5 admission charge to help preserve special gardens. Ms. Dimos is a professional landscape designer with a degree in landscape architecture. Her gardens surround her 1735 house located at 11 Barlow Mountain Road. At this time of year the gardens feature peonies, rises and clematis. The property also is filled with specimen trees planted over the 17 years that Ms. Dimos has lived at this address. The garden is open from10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to this garden there are three others located in North and South Salem that are also open.
