The former mayor of New York, Time's 2001 person of the year, and former candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States will be in Danbury on Thursday, October 24th. Rudy Giuliani will speak at a charity breakfast held at The Amber Room at 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities of Greater Danbury, which provides food, clothing, shelter, counseling and more to people of all faiths.
The Amber Room is on one Stacey Road in Danbury. (For those of you who are planners, the Breakfast is usually over around 9:00.)
By the way, did you know that Rudy was knighted by the Queen of England, dubbed "Rudy the Rock" by French President Jaccques Chirac, and was presented with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Freedom Award? What a guy!
