The Amber Room Honored to Receive Hat City Ball Award

The Amber Room is honored to be receiving, along with The New American Dream Foundation, The 2021 Hat City Award for preservation of excellence from the Danbury Museum this year. We feel blessed to be a part of a community that stands together not only during good times but in the challenging times as well. We are humbled by this incredible honor and recognize that it truly “takes a village”.

There will be a reimagined version of the Hat City Ball, scheduled for February 12 of this year. We encourage everyone to visit the Danbury Museums website to purchase their VIRTUAL ticket and view the upcoming auction items. Thank you for your support! Kick off your Valentine's Day weekend with a special treat. It's the best part of the traditional Hat City Ball experience--the food!--a three course meal that you can pick up at the Amber Room and enjoy (in your favorite PJs or your favorite gown!) in the comfort of your home with your favorite person! The biggest upside of this year's Virtual Hat City Ball is that for each ticket purchased, a meal will be donated to Danbury senior citizens-our storytellers and memory keepers-in collaboration with The New American Dream Foundation and the Amber Room Colonnade.
