John J. Esposito Sr. Danbury's Longest Serving Council Member, has Died

The Danbury community is mourning the passing of John J. Esposito Sr., WWII veteran and the longest-serving Council member in Danbury history, serving the city for twenty-six years.  John was born on September 12, 1924 and passed away on July 12, 2021. 

Former Mayor Mark Boughton remarked, "John Esposito was a great man. A huge loss for our community. I will miss him..."

Green Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on July 18, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. Funeral Mass will be held on July 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Church, Main St, Danbury, CT.
