You're IT SWADE!

Four questions with Nate Bradley, founder of SWADE

Why did you start your business?

SWADE was originally founded to spread a message of male positivity in today’s society. We envisioned a movement, a community, not just a brand... but a message of goodwill.

A mission of male-positivity and the importance of men's self-care; to not only help men be caring, kind and brave, cool and confident, but witty and true gentlemen. A message that would identify with the social responsibility in the world would want for all the men in their lives to be: SWADE. We envisioned a brand that covered all the forward-thinking, positive attributes any man would want to be and be proud to be.

Our brand was born in men’s apparel and accessories yet continue to grow into the men’s personal care line planning to offer fragrances and bath & body products.

What is your best-selling product/service?

SWADE’s best-selling product is our classic t-shirt. All our apparel is custom measured across the shoulders, chest, and waist, with extra length to ensure a proper comfortable fit from size small to 3XL. Our quality materials and stitching give you greater durability, softness, and value.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

SWADE has partnered with a handful of local businesses as we continue to grow.

Brewster Screen Printing helped with our early stages of printing graphics on our custom blank t-shirts.

KTC helped build our brand marketing, branding, and digital storytelling.

Diversified Printing Solutions has helped build promotional and marketing materials.

Fusion Media assists in strategizing our design theory, e-commerce, web, and social media content planning.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Yes, we have pivoted twice during the beginning of Covid to balance the increase in remote e-commerce online shopping trends and the influence social media has on consumers’ attention and beliefs. We continue to focus on our mission and vision, continuing on our philanthropic foundation to give back where we can.

Nate would like to nominate KTC to be featured next!
