This Week in the City: Danbury Fireworks

This Week in the City, I am joined by City of Danbury Fire Marshal Terry Timan and Bill Coffey, Danbury Volunteer Firemen’s Council, to highlight the 2023 Danbury fireworks!

The fireworks will be held Saturday, June 24th at dusk at Danbury Town Park. Gates to the park will open at 5:30pm. The rain date is Sunday, June 25th.

There are a few guidelines to keep you and your family safe:

  • Blankets and lawn chairs are allowed
  • No alcohol allowed in the park.
  • All coolers will be checked at the entrance
  • No barbecuing allowed – but the concession stand will be open!
  • No pets allowed
  • The water will be closed to all patrons

Come join us to celebrate America’s Independence and watch the fireworks!
