Celebrate cancer survivors on stage with N.E.D. the Band
N.E.D. — a band of gynecology oncologists — is performing at CityCenter in Danbury, Conn. on July 21
Join Nuvance Health and Ann’s Place at a summer concert full of hope, inspiration, fun and music. N.E.D. the band will perform from 7 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. on July 21 at CityCenter in Danbury, Conn. The alternative rock band will honor cancer survivors on stage during this “Summer in the City” Concert Series.
N.E.D. stands for “no evidence of disease”, which doctors share with patients at the end of their treatment when they are cancer free. N.E.D. is a band of gynecology oncology surgeons, including Dr. Nimesh Nagarsheth, a Danbury, Conn. native and internationally recognized women’s cancer surgeon. The band has released two albums of original music that have received critical acclaim. Their songs are designed to empower women, give them hope and break the silence surrounding gynecologic cancers.
- Marge Davidson, a breast cancer survivor since 2019
- Kim Downey, a three-time cancer survivor who has overcome thyroid and bilateral breast cancer survivor over the last couple of years
- Joyce Wigler, a breast cancer survivor since 2005
