Danbury resident Danielle Rachel Dempsey, 25, passed away after tragic car accident, services and Period of Mourning planned

Danielle R. Dempsey 1997 – 2023

Danielle Rachel Dempsey, 25, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. Passed away after being involved in a tragic car accident on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Danielle was born on October 31, 1997, in Danbury, Connecticut to her parents Jodi and Bill Dempsey. Danielle was fondly known as the apple of her father’s eye and his “Dani-girl,” and was her mother’s sweetheart and her “Dooder-Girl,”

Danielle was a talented artist, aspiring chef, and passionate about so many things that were important to her. She was a vibrant and beautiful person with a huge heart and infectious smile.

Danielle is survived by her parents, Jodi and Bill Dempsey, her brother Joshua Dempsey and his fiancé Lauren Bonham, brother Noah Dempsey and his girlfriend Kendall Krafick, brother Aaron Dempsey and his girlfriend Kiarra Hamed, and her grandparents, Harriet and Herb Krate.

Danielle was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, William and Margaret Dempsey.

Danielle was a beautiful light in the lives of all who had the opportunity to know and love her, and she will be sorely missed by her parents, grandparents, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, her favorite dog “Wilson,” and other loved ones.

Danielle will be forever remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, with Cantor Lilah Sugarman, officiating.

Interment will follow in the United Jewish Center Cemetery, 124 Gray’s Bridge Rd., Brookfield, CT.

The Period of Mourning will be observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Krate, 4 Alan Rd., Lake Waubeeka, Danbury, CT on Wednesday following the Interment. Thursday from 11 am and Friday from 11 am until 6 p.m.
