Danbury's Light the Lights Winter Festival planned for Saturday, Dec. 2

CityCenter Green is aglow for the Annual Light the Lights Winter Festival on Saturday, December 2nd, from 3pm to 7pm, at the CityCenter Green (1 Ives Street).

Downtown transforms into a winter wonderland as lights of greens and reds, blues and whites celebrate every holiday of lights across the globe right here in Danbury. Join Danbury Mayor-elect Roberto Alves as he flips the switch lighting the 40-foot holiday tree marking the commencement of the holiday season. Santa spreads cheer as he arrives via a live firetruck parade, and live performances that will warm your heart and get you in the spirit. Plus, local vendors showcasing gifts and treats at the holiday market kick off this sweet season of giving.

Enormous thanks on behalf of the entire community to our title sponsor, The Savings Bank of Danbury, for its generous support of this cultural initiative, to The Salvation Army for the donation of hot food and beverages, and to the City of Danbury for the gift of the holiday tree.
