Dr. Jonathan Knapp and Volunteers to host free dental clinic

CT Mission of Mercy and Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach seeking volunteers for Danbury Dental Clinic

According to the Tribuna, Dr. Jonathan Knapp in connection with The Connecticut Mission of Mercy and 1,500 other volunteers will be will offer free dental care for about 2,000 people on March 23 and 24 at Westconn.

They will be offering services such as dental care cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions and checks for oral cancer-- all for free.

connecticut Mission of Mercy is part of The Connecticut Foundation for Dental Outreach whose mission is to facilitate the delivery of charitable dental care to the underserved.

The volunteers will convert two buildings on the Westside campus of Western Connecticut State University into the state’s largest dental clinic.

The Connecticut Mission of Mercy is the organization behind the two-day clinic, which provides free dental care to the underserved and uninsured in the state – those that would otherwise go without dental care.

Every year, the Connecticut Mission of Mercy project is held in a different location throughout the state.
