The Danbury Music Centre presents a concert of the Danbury Concert Chorus and Chamber Orchestra, led by John Cuk, for A Celebration of Fauré, marking the 180th anniversary of Gabriel Fauré’s birth. The event will take place on May 3, 2025 from 4 to 5pm at St. James Episcopal Church, 25 West Street, Danbury, CT.
The program includes Fauré’s Requiem, known for its calm and reflective tone. Also on the program are Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine, and Tantum Ergo.
Guest soloists soprano Cristina Trnik and baritone Michael Trnik will perform.
