Village Center for the Arts 25th Celebration

Saturday, May 17th 10:00-6:00 PM

Celebrate with us!!

We’ll be hosting a fun and interactive event with activities for all ages, including a pottery smash tent, artist demonstrations, live music, face painting, a fundraising art auction, and MORE. This is a celebration of 25 years and we want you to be a part of it!. We believe that art has the power to bring people together, and we are passionate about making art accessible to everyone in New Milford and beyond.

In addition to our events and exhibitions, we offer programs like tuition assistance, our Studio Affair (a free monthly gathering), and the Unexpected Artist program, all designed to help people of all ages and backgrounds connect with their creative potential. We would be honored to have your station cover this milestone celebration, so we can make it a successful and memorable event for the entire town.

Village Center for the Arts, founded in 1998, is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to bringing the transformative power of the arts to our local community and surrounding towns. As we celebrate 25 years of creativity and connection this May, our mission remains focused on providing accessible, high-quality arts education, fostering creativity, and supporting local artists. Through a diverse range of programs—including classes, workshops, exhibits, and performances—we aim to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and express themselves through the arts. Over the past quarter-century, we've become a hub for artistic expression, cultivating a vibrant, inclusive space where people can come together to learn, create, and grow. Our dedication to enriching lives through the arts is at the heart of why we are here, and we look forward to continuing this important work for years to come.
