Connor Florio of Danbury to Lead 5th Annual Dylan J. Hoffman Memorial Walk & Family Fun Day

Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley will host the 5th Annual Dylan J. Hoffman Memorial Walk & Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Crawford Park in Rye Brook. NY. The event will benefit critically ill children and their families in the Hudson Valley.

Dylan lived a short life, but his memory and spirit are alive and well. This event hosted by the House in conjunction with the Hoffman Family of Wilton, CT, will celebrate his life and the thousands of families who have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House since 2011 when it was opened.

The Walk will be led by 1-year old Connor Florio of Danbury, CT who defied all odds and proved miracles exist when he was born weighing only 10.9 ounces (310 grams) and measuring only 9 inches long on July 13, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center. Connor was born prematurely at only 26 weeks gestation, and is one of the smallest baby boys to ever survive in the United States.

Participants will stroll along the path around the beautiful 35-acre Crawford Park in Rye Brook, NY.  After the walk, families and friends can enjoy activities including Wacky Inflatables Bounce Houses, the Bubble Bus, BASF Kids Slime Lab, Music by DJ Johnny G,  Bookmark Buddies, Face Painting, Pet Therapy Dogs, Lego Mania, a BBQ by the Yonkers Fire Department and much more!
