Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3 has been coined Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
Consider giving LOCAL tomorrow. There are so many worthy nonprofits right here in Danbury that are changing the world for the better - on a daily basis! These nonprofits are helping residents with disabilities, bringing art, music, dance, theater and even Broadway to our community (and beyond), providing services and programs to senior citizens and children, supporting those battling cancer, rescuing pets, and keeping us healthy.
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
