In the spirit of the holidays, the City of Danbury Fire Department & Fire Marshal’s Office are hosting donation drives for small gifts and canned food!

Fire Marshal's Holiday Gift Drive

Help spread holiday cheer for the residents at Saint John Paul II Center by donating an item from the list below! To donate, please bring the item to the Fire Marshal’s Office (preferably with a gift bag for each item) by December 20!

  • Word search books
  • Paperback books
  • Sweater (in sizes medium or large)
  • Fuzzy socks with grippers on bottom
  • Lap blankets
  • Shawls
  • Coloring books & colored pencils

Danbury Professional Firefighters Local 801 Holiday Canned Food Drive

The Danbury Professional Firefighters of Local 801 are holding their annual drive for canned and non-perishable food to support the Danbury Salvation Army’s holiday basket program and food pantry.
 
Donations may be dropped off at the following DFD career stations:
Headquarters – 19 New St.
Engine 23 – 208 Osborne St.
Engine 24 – 36 Eagle Rd. (Commerce Park)
Engine 25 – 171 South King St.
Engine 26 – 75 Kenosia Ave Ext.
City Hall – Fire Marshal’s Division (box located in the City Hall lobby)

Donations will be accepted at fire stations from Nov. 22 to Dec. 22, 2021.

Stuff-A-Firetruck event will be held at Stop & Shop at 44 Lake Ave. Ext. on 12/18/21 from 10am-1pm.
