Danbury Youth Services hosts Hops for Kids event to benefit area youth on March 16

Danbury Youth Services (DYS) invites the public to attend its Hops for Kids event on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m.at Charter Oak Brewing Company in Danbury.

Hops for Kids features live music by Lucinda & Michael, delicious food from Mothership on Main, craft beer and great raffle prizes.  Tickets are $50.00 per person. All proceeds benefit programs that directly impact youth and families in Greater Danbury. Come and enjoy a fun evening by purchasing tickets at www. danburyyouthservices.org.

“The Hops for Kids event is an exciting way to gather friends of supporters of DYS while raising funds critical to our mission,” says DYS Executive Director Julie Schmitter. “Our agency is grateful for the support in the community which allows us to provide high-quality mental health care and rich social educational experiences for young people.”

Danbury Youth Services is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit agency designated as the Youth Services Bureau for the City of Danbury. DYS provides services to 300 youth annually, ages 6 – 18 years old.   DYS is also a licensed psychiatric facility. Its mission is to empower youth and families to build positive and fulfilling lives. The agency has committed over 50 years of service to youth and their families from the Greater Danbury Area. DYS turns no one away for inability to pay and offers many of its programs at no cost.
