Housatonic Habitat for Humanity announces the House that Beer Built, raising the walls, one pint at a time

This summer Housatonic Habitat for Humanity will be raising the walls on another affordable home in our area one pint at a time. “The House That Beer Built” harnesses the collaborative spirit of Connecticut breweries, wineries and bars to help raise funds to build two new Habitat homes this summer.

“Habitat is excited to be working with the Connecticut craft beer community and local wineries,” said Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Diana Arfine. “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to partner with businesses and individuals in the area as well as spread the word of the Habitat mission. The reception to our latest fundraiser has been overwhelming, and we are so thankful to everyone who has made this project possible!”

Brew Tour Cards will be sold for $50 by Housatonic Habitat for Humanity starting April 15, and will be valid May 1 thru Labor Day 2023. Cardholders will receive one free drink at each of the participating vendors. Money raised through this fundraising collaborative will go toward the building of two Habitat for Humanity homes in New
Preston, CT.

Participating partners include Reverie Brewing Company, Nod Hill Brewery, Quirk Works Brewing and Blendery, Broken Symmetry Gastro-Brewery, NewSylum Brewing Co., Woodbury Brewing Company, Aquila’s Nest Vineyards, Bad Dog Brewing Company, Continuum Distilling, New England Brewing Co, Golf Lounge 18 and Michael’s Taproom.
