Fa La La La Light the Lights Winter Festival in Danbury is Great Success!

CityCenter Danbury is pleased to announce that the annual “Light the Lights Winter Festival” was a great success!!! On Sunday, December 4th, over 1,000 children and their family members gathered on the Green to enjoy a festive event celebrating the holiday with a wide variety of vendors to shop, live performances and many holiday decorations that delighted the crowd!

With the enthusiastic and generous support from local businesses, organizations and individuals, this event helped kick off the holiday spirit in Downtown Danbury.

"The first annual Light the Lights Winter Festival was a huge success. It was a great day to bring together our community and celebrate the holiday season. Our new Christmas tree is a wonderful addition to downtown Danbury and I look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come." - Mayor Dean Esposito

Lazaro Chavez, CityCenter Manager stated, “The dream has finally come to reality with the support of the City of Danbury in bringing this magnificent tree to the Green! I felt a tremendous sense of joy in seeing everyone full of smiles and such positive energy! For our first Winter Festival, I couldn’t have asked for a better showing. It was great to feel Downtown Danbury shine bright!!!”

CityCenter Danbury and the City of Danbury would like to thank everyone who were involved in creating this event. From our City Public Workers, Danbury Police Department, Danbury Cadets, Salvation Army, Union Savings Bank and so many more. None of this could have been done without your support.

Happy Holidays, may you all enjoy this season full of joy and we will see you all again next year!
