Greater Danbury Chamber announces Conversations with Extraordinary Women on May 16

The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce’s Women's Business Council is pleased to announce “Conversations with Extraordinary Women” - a unique opportunity to participate in a conversation that inspires and empowers women.

The event will be held on May 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Amber Room Colonnade, 1 Stacey Road, Danbury.

* Presented by the Women's Business Council of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.

* Network, Cash Bar, Appetizers, Coffee and Dessert, Vendors and a panel discussion.

* TOPIC: Diversity to Empowerment: Women's Journey to Leadership

* MODERATOR: Michelle James, Chamber Board Member and Executive Director at the Community Action Agency of Western Connecticut will moderate the discussion. 

PANEL:

Nancy J. Di Dia is the CEO of Di Dia Diversity Consulting Group, LL. She is a PCC-certified executive and life coach leading and developing talent globally in Fortune 100 Businesses.

Carmen E. Hughes is the City of Stamford’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer.

Jennifer Torneden is an enterprise global leader who designs and integrates businesses around people, purpose, and profit. Recently, Jennifer was Senior Vice President of Distribution, Marketing and Strategic Growth for Legal and General’s (LG) US Insurance division.
