This Week in the City, I joined Katie Curran, President & CEO of the Connecticut Institute for Communities (CIFC) and Sabrina Ross, Site Manager of the Danbury Community Center to discuss the many different services the Danbury Community Center provides to Danbury’s residents.
CIFC is a Danbury-based nonprofit serving families through a combination of health, housing, education and youth programming, and the City of Danbury is proud to support their efforts through grants. Their latest project, the Danbury Community Center, offers countless recreational opportunities for residents including basketball, swimming, Zumba, and even Pickleball!
The Danbury Community Center is an asset to our community and we are extremely proud of this new, important resource for our families.
