Free Program for Parents of High School and Middle School Student Athletes

As part of the Immaculate High School Mustang Speaker Series, alumni Joe Bouffard ’92 will present “How to Build Your Athletic Recruiting Plan” on Monday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Immaculate High School. This presentation is free and is sponsored by the IHS Alumni Association. Area middle and high school student-athletes and families are invited to attend, as Mr. Bouffard shows guests “how to take the focus off chasing a full athletic scholarship and put it on schools that offer free funding towards a degree.” While Mr. Bouffard specializes in football, this presentation is beneficial to student-athletes in any sport.

Mr. Bouffard is currently the Northeast Director of Player Development for All American Games. All American Games runs elite high school and middle school football events such as U.S. Army All-American Bowl and Football University. Throughout his 20 years’ experience coaching at the college and high school levels, combined with traveling the nation evaluating talent, Mr. Bouffard has become very familiar with the ins and outs of the recruiting process. At the presentation “Coach Bouf” will discuss the various factors that a student-athlete’s family needs to understand to not only play a sport at the collegiate level, but get their degree paid for by the school.
