CT Ancestry Society presentation on genealogy at Danbury Library

The Danbury Library will be hosting a presentation on genealogy by the CT Ancestry Society on Saturday, March 3 from 10:30am-12:30pm.  (Snow date: Sat., March 10th) 

Nora Galvin, a professional genealogist and the editor of the quarterly journal of the CT Ancestry Society, will be giving a workshop on the importance of incorporating DNA test results into your genealogy research techniques. Nora will describe how DNA is inherited and discuss testing strategies to help identify the DNA of specific ancestors.

The CT Ancestry Society is a Fairfield-County based genealogy society that offers 10 educational meetings per year and a quarterly scholarly journal. The program is open to adults and is free of charge.  No registration is required.
